I dunno. What should you get? Christmas is a week away, and for those of you who celebrate Christmas but are still wondering what to get for people, here are some sites with some ideas:
Worldchanging Holiday Gift Guide: A list with a socially responsible bent – includes a book list, a list of socially responsible clothing companies, etc.
All Recipes Christmas Cookie Countdown: For those who like to bake cookies, All Recipes is featuring a cookie recipe from a different part of the world each day.
Epicurious 25 Days of Christmas Cookies: I think you get the idea. Epicurious is a little bit more fancy schmancy.
MAKE: As the name of the site indicates, for those who like to make things, but with a techie, science bent (think robots and circuits). The right side of the site has a column of different links for holiday gifts.
Craft: MAKE’s sister site, for projects that are more artsy crafty than techie. Just do a search for something or look at their list of categories for ideas.

Kathy, may we ask a little about you? It’s been bothering for some time that we never got any introduction in regards to who you are, and not saying I don’t like you or your posts, but since you the biggest contributor to this blog now, I’m curious to know a little about you, how you got involved with Girls By Design, etc… 🙂 Could please be so kind as to quench our/my curosity here? =D

Give the gift of Music, Ukulele’s are hellishly cheap, and good fun for all ages, and they CAN sound surprisingly good.
Check out ‘The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain’ on youtube
Making music is one of the most rewarding experiences you can have
